Credit Controller

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a well-established business in the Nottingham area to assist in the recruitment of a Credit Controller to join their finance team on a full time, permanent basis.

The client is hoping to have an experienced individual in place by the end of this month, therefore someone with a shorter notice period would be advantageous, however it is not essential.

Duties of the position include:

- Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email
- Setting up new accounts
- Allocating cash on to accounts
- Creating/running daily credit reports
- Journal payments
- Resolving any queries with the customers
- Taking payments over the phone
- Setting credit limits
- Daily management of own accounts

Experienced required:

- At least 1 years' worth of experience working within a Credit Control position
- Ability to pick up strict policies and procedures
- Confident liaising with individuals at all levels
- Comfortable working within in a team
- Educated to GCSE level including Maths & English
- Strong Excel skills
