Management Accountant

A market leading consultancy organisation, based in Birmingham, are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team following a recent restructure.

You will partner with Heads of Department for all support functions to understand and develop strategic plans and provide insightful analysis in order to aid decision making processes. You will produce the monthly P&L’s, budgets and forecasts, as well as driving planning and reporting for each support function. You will also look into the cost allocations of each function and identify areas for cost efficiency, as well as the impact this would have on each business unit’s KPIs.

The successful candidate will be a part-qualified or qualified Accountant with experience of management reporting and variance analysis. You will also have worked with cost controlling and feel comfortable working closely with Department Heads, explaining deviations in budgets and challenging where necessary.
