Part-Time Finance Manager

Your new company

Your new company runs the production for the some of best stage shows in London, from musicals to comedies. Working as part of a lean team, you will report into the Director of Finance, as well as managing 3 direct reports. This business is based in Central London, with great transport links and a great flexible working culture.

They are now looking to bring a Finance Manager on board for a 15 month Fixed Term Contract, as maternity cover, working on a part time basis; likely 3 days a week.


Your new role

In your new role, you will have a really broad remit, meaning you will be responsible for managing the year-end audit from beginning to end. You will also be ultimately responsible for all of the payroll;.

In this role, you will need to be able to prepare the monthly consolidated management accounts, accurately and timely - ready for submission to the board and the investors.

You will also be managing 3 direct reports, of part-qualified, and non-qualified, accountants in this role, developing them to their full potential and answering any queries they may have.


What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a fully Qualified accountant, with between 2-5 years PQE. During your career to now, you will have worked in an SME business with a broad focus to the role. You should have experience managing a payroll process, as well as month-end accounting. Experience managing a full year end audit process will also be required in this role.

Experience working in the theatre or similar sectors will be extremely advantageous, but not a pre-requisite to the role.
