The key deliverables will be:
- Ensuring accurate monthly management accounts are timely and of use offering genuine insight
- Design and report on key performance indicators both financial and operational.
- Responsible for monthly financial and operational reporting for P&L, BS & Headcount
- Partner with the business to deliver quarterly budgeting and forecasting
- Ensuring reporting is robust and efficient - improving efficiencies and driving decision making
- Taking responsibility for a small but growing team
- Managing, nurturing and developing each team member as an individual
What do you need to be successful?
You will be able to demonstrate suitable accountancy experience (a relevant qualification ACA, CIMA, ACCA) and a tangible record of achievement is going to be essential to instil confidence. Experience within an SME would be advantageous – a big business background is great but this environment and its challenges are going to be different. Most importantly your personality, communication skills and approach will be essential to success. Savvy system skills, attention to detail and a record of process improvement will ensure you are well placed to add value.
