Commercial Accountant

Our Client is rapidly expanding business based in York, who have an immediate opportunity for a part or Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent Accountant to join them for a 6 month interim contract, to assist with extra workload through a busy time in the Commercial Finance team/ The role will work very closely with the Head of FP&A to support delivery of Group Strategy and provide Financial Challenge, Support and insight to enable decision making.
The role will be responsible for:
*Provision of cost information with appropriate analysis to support business decision making processes.
*Development of Cost reporting working with the BI team to ensure fit for purpose and continuous improvements.
*Business partner with the Senior Finance Managers across the business.
*Preparation of monthly cost packs comparing actual with plan and forecast.
*Identify Risk & Opportunity.
*Support project reporting.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience of delivering in a similar role as well as strong communication, technical accounting and systems skills as well as a flexible approach to work and a strong team mentality.
