Interim Internal Audit Officer - Cardiff

Your new organisation
Our client is a Welsh Government sponsored body that deal with issues that affect the communities and economy of the people of Wales. They are looking for an Internal Audit Officer to carry out risk based audits within their organisation.

Your new role
In your new role you will work alongside the Senior Auditor to carry out timely execution and co-ordination of risk based internal audits in accordance with the annual strategy and to standards outlined in PSIAS. As well as providing support in other audit matters and projects as they arise. You will also be expected to assist in the development and embedding of the risk management approach and culture within the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
A professional audit or financial qualification would be desirable but not essential. You must carry out your audits with a sharp eye for detail and an analytical mind-set. You will possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills and be highly self-motivated. You must be technically astute and intellectually curious. A basic level of Welsh (Hello, Goodbye, Thank You etc) would be advantageous.
