Internal Controls Manager
Retail/distribution firm seek an Internal Controls Manager to establish and oversee their control framework.
Your new company
This leading retail/distribution business are continuing to lead their way in the provision of goods to the technical sector. And as part of their continued growth plans, they are seeking to appoint an Internal Controls Manager to evaluate, develop and manage their internal control framework.
Your new role
As part of the senior leadership team, you will lead the business in ensuring the organisation is operating under an effective and robust risk framework. you will lead the planning, management and testing of all controls in alignment with the US-based parent company. As such a thorough understanding of SOX is a must. In addition to managing the internal controls, you will also take the lead on a wide variety of projects within the finance function. There will be little if no travel in this role other than occasional visits to the US HO.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified finance professional with a demonstrable track record of implementing, developing and managing controls frameworks within a large organisation. You will be fully conversant in SOX legislation and have experience of working with a US-owned business.
