A FTSE 100 company based in Slough is looking for a Financial Accountant. The Financial Accountant should be a fully qualified accountant (ACA) with a real desire to progress their career. This position will be reporting to the Financial Controller within a rapidly growing area of the business and there will be a huge opportunity to gain exposure to some interesting project work.
The Financial Controller is looking to recruit this Financial Accountant position as a result of internal progression. He is looking to up skill and bring in a high calibre individual due to the dynamic nature of this division. The key aspects of the Financial Accountant position will include:
- Taking a lead role in the month end close
- Providing analysis and reporting of the financials to senior management
- Advising the business on key technical accounting issues
- Providing decision support to key commercial stake holders
- Taking a proactive approach to identifying process improvements
This role would serve as an excellent first step into industry for a recently qualified accountant (ACA) from a Top Tier or Mid Tier Accountancy Practice.
