Company Accountant

New Company Accountant Role for dynamic and growing SME based in Wilmslow

Our exclusive client are a dynamic marketing SME based in the Wilmslow area. Due to growth and the ambition to continue it, they are now looking for a company accountant to put controls in place and build a finance function.

Your new role

• Design and implement financial controls, processes and authorization levels
• Design and implement monthly reporting pack for owners and key stake holders
• Deal with day to day banking requirements
• Processing of purchase invoices, bank reconciliations payments etc
• Preparation and filing of VAT returns
• Ensuring Payroll and pensions are processed correctly
• Raising of sales invoices, both cyclical and ad hoc.
• Debt collection
• Ensuring budgets vs actuals are monitored closely
• Working with departments and senior management to ensure they are aware of budget and reporting requirements
• Streamlining of the expense recording, reporting and authorization system
• Aid in the development of the business strategies and structures
• Engagement with key supply partners and customers

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified accountant with at least three years experience in a similar role. Although this role may suit a candidate that is QBE. You will need drive and a passion to help in growing the business. You will also need to be hands on.
