Management Accountant

International company urgently require CIMA/ACCA Management Accountant to cover a 12 month maternity contract at Head office in Sunbury on Thames.

About The Role

My client is an expanding international business services organisation with a growing portfolio of key business clients. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will be responsible for month end Management Accounting for several group companies.  Key duties include:

• Responsibility for the annual budget preparation and monthly review meetings
• Profit & loss review and analysis. 
• Reporting on all variances to budget and forecasts
• Accrual and prepayments
• Intercompany accounting & reconciliations
• VAT & intrastat returns
• Revenue recognition and analysis
• Monthly reporting on variances to budget
• Financial modelling using MS Excel
• Overseeing the Accounts Payable team

The successful Management Accountant will be: 

• ACCA / CIMA Qualified with strong Management Accounting experience and experience of MS Excel.
