Group Financial Controller

Group Financial Controller required for a superb retail group based in Wolverhampton. This is a business that has a strong international presence and has done exceptionally well in the UK market in recent years, and is looking to recruit this brand new position to support their ever-growing position in the market.

As the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Looking after multiple sites remotely from the Wolverhampton office
- Overseeing the production of monthly management accounts for 20 retail sites
- Monthly consolidation of management information including budgeting and forecasting data
- Business partnering management of different group functions as well as individual site managers
- Supporting the production of annual statutory accounting information as well as yearly audit

There is strong progression potential with this role to take on more retail sites as you develop within the business, as the company is part of a much larger group.

Person requirements
The ideal candidate will be either ACCA or ACA qualified and come from a strong background overseeing multiple sites, from ideally the service sector or retail industry. Candidates should be from a medium- or large-sized company background.
