My client, a Surrey based Pharmaceutical company, is looking to hire an interim Financial Accountant for a 6 month role. Key responsibilities include:
- supporting the month-end close process
- working with External & Internal Auditors
- supporting operational finance process activities.
- ensure that the JSOX business process controls are effective and evidenced
- support on preparation of Statutory Accounts
- prepared to work hard and resolve balance sheet reconciliation issues, commitment report clean-up, PO clean-up, Financial Authorisation Rule table clean-up, Fixed Asset register clean-up.
- generate journal entry requests and provide supporting documentation (Prepayments, Accruals, Reclassifications).
SAP experience is a must as is advanced Excel with this very 'hands on 'role.
