Financial Controller job based in Liverpool for a manufacturing site of a large international group. to £60000

A rapidly growing Liverpool based manufacturing company which is part of an international group. Experienced operational team who ensure this business is a market leader in its specialist sector.

Your new role
In this newly created role you will work closely with the site MD to lead your finance team and ensure a high quality service is provided to the business.
You will be responsible for all monthly reporting, forecasts and budgets.
You'll partner extensively with the operational team and have a dotted line into the Finance Director.
Your objectives will include the development of improved reporting, developing a close working relationship with the senior management team, and the development of your finance team.
You will also be involved in projects including systems upgrades and factory improvement initiatives.
A further key aspect of the role is ensuring strong financial controls are maintained and that forecasts to group are accurate and reliable.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a qualified accountant, ideally with an ACA or ACCA audit background.
You will have had exposure to manufacturing organisations either via previous audit clients or recent experience within the sector.
You'll have a good knowledge of financial controls and demonstrable experience of implementing improved reporting.
You'll have the ambition to be the leader of your own finance team and to shape the future direction of the department.
You'll have the drive to succeed and manage a busy work schedule working with multiple stakeholders as part of a major international business.
