Management Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a qualified or Qualified by Experience Management Accountant to join a well established and successful business in Sheffield, near Meadowhall.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will take full control of the monthly management accounts whilst taking on aspects of business partnering across multi-sites to support the financial planning and budgeting process.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Drive and deliver the the monthly Management Accounts, reporting in a timely manner to meet the business requirements in driving commercial and operational performance
- Develop and maintain the fixed asset register
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation's
- Developing KPIs across the business
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budgets and forecasts
- Provide supplementary reports to the Group as required
- Ensure accurate records are maintained
- Develop relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Intrastat Returns
- Devise and implement new financial controls and processes

The successful Management Accountant will need to be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:

- ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified/ Qualified by Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good systems knowledge and Excel
- Strong finance background
- Highly commercial mindset
- Proven interpersonal skills
- Business partnering/ stakeholder management skills
