Management Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are proud to be working with a successful growing group of companies for one of their main offices based in Rotherham. Due to further planned growth and business expansion, they are now looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join the business and work closely with the Finance Director.

This role will be responsible for group reporting and providing related analysis for the companies numerous sites across the UK. Duties will include: -

*Prepare management accounts for multiple site information
*Develop KPI reporting
*Collate/summarise management accounts from multiple sites
*Preparation of various KPI reports for distribution to key stakeholders
*Weekly cash flow forecasting
*Preparation and distribution of site management information packs and spending time reviewing with site managers in order to drive improvements through the business
*Produce accurate budget and updated forecast summaries
*Monthly reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts
*Auditor liaison, VAT/ Intrastat, National Statistics
*Work with the finance and commercial teams and manage the internal controls, processes and procedures
*Implement and deliver improved all round performance, management information and support corporate goals
*Able to problem solve and implement change to deliver key business goals.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

*Qualified accountant in ACCA or CIMA or qualified by experience
*Minimum 2-3 years experience operating at a Management Accountant level
*Exposure to operations withiin industry
*Ideally have experience working with multiple sites
*Able to deal with some of the more technical areas of finance
*Have experience of working with an ERP system
*Strong Excel skills
*Good stakeholder management experience - Good at dealing with people at all levels
*Strong attention to detail
*Good business acumen
*Flexible work ethic
*Sound decision making skills
