Accountant - About The Role

An opportunity has become available to work within a fabulous organisation that offers wonderful on-site facilities and environment in which to be part of.  This position will be working in the capacity of an Accountant with responsibility for both financial and management accounting reporting requirements.  Reporting in to Head of Finance and Operations where you will be working with two Finance Assistants. You will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and other monthly reports, including Balance Sheet and inter-company reconciliations
• Assist the Head of Finance with the preparation of forecasts, budgets and strategic plans
• Take ownership of the monthly payroll file, preparing data for the monthly payroll run
• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Management for the Finance Assistants, providing leadership, direction and support where required
• Project work and ad-hoc tasks as required

Although this position is initially a fixed term contract for a period of 6 months, there is a strong possibility that this role could be made permanent for the right individual.

The successful Accountant will have:

• Full end to end exposure and experience working within finance team
• Qualified within ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• Available immediately to facilitate the interview process
