Our client is a leading Exeter based employer, with their head office within close proximity of the M5.   Due to substantial investment and change within the business, this is a really exciting time to join their highly successful and growing finance team.  The are very passionate about the culture within the business and being people focused.  They now have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join their team.

The ideal candidate for this Financial Analyst role would be ambitious and a quick learner, who can handle working in a challenging and fast changing environment. 

The Financial Analyst will need to have commercial experience, have managed large volumes of data, and are passionate about ensuring all accounting and forecasting of this important sizeable area is undertaken accurately, and to provide insightful analysis which highlights areas which will improve profit. 

If you are obsessive about ensuring all costs are correctly accounted for and continually on the lookout for cost savings and efficiencies, then this is the ideal role for you.

• Have excellent interpersonal skills – confident and driven to exceed expectations.
• Be a self-starter and highly motivated.
• Have strong Microsoft Office skills – particularly Word and Excel.
• Have knowledge and experience of working with finance systems.
• Have the ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
• Be prepared to commit to continued professional development. 
• Be part qualified or above - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualifications or qualified by experience.
