A London Market insurance group is looking to bolster its Financial Planning & Analysis function with a high calibre commercial accountant either from the insurance market or from an top 10 accountancy practice. The role will involve forging strong relationships with underwriting divisions as well as other business units such as actuarial and Group Finance. Working as part of a high profile team, you will be a key contributor to the delivery of the planning process for the business unit and ensuring appropriate levels of support is provided to the underwriting teams throughout the cycle. The role will entail business planning, producing financial MI, business partnering and assisting with the continued improvement of the FP&A function.
To be considered for this role you must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who has both a technical understanding of insurance accounting and good commercial acumen. You must have excellent communication skills and have demonstrable experience of planning, organising and delivering to all levels of stakeholders.
