Business Analyst

Vitae are working exclusively with an impressive Global Business to help source an Oracle Business Analyst. The primary focus of the role will be on the support, troubleshooting and testing of various models and although the role will sit in the IT Team, there will be daily interaction with the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
-Responsible for responding to and resolving Oracle connectivity and system issues faced by the business users in a timely manner.
-Work closely with end users and technical support to assist in the design and development of reports.
-Work with hosting provider as well as Oracle support, as needed, to resolve bugs/issues. Log and Track Oracle Service Requests (SRs) as necessary.
-Ability to interact with users at all levels; programmers, DBAs, business users and senior management.
-Ability to prioritize issues based on level of impact to the business.
-Deal with Oracle hosting provider and Oracle Support to troubleshoot more complex issues.
-Troubleshoot workflows that support the Financial and Purchasing modules.
-Support Planning Budgeting Cloud Servcies (ePBCS) (Hyperion) reporting issues and scheduled processes.
-Support BI Publisher and WebADI reporting.
-Perform basic SQL queries (must have knowledge of tables, views and packages related to the Financials, Projects and Purchasing modules).

Due to the nature of the role, extensive experience with Oracle will be essential and experience in a similar role would be preferred. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills will also be a must as the role involves daily work between various departments in the business.
