Adjacency is recruiting a Finance Business Partner for a Cheltenham-based organisation who have experienced phenomenal growth which will continue for the foreseeable future. This is a new role that will focus on Finance Projects and Central Functions in an organisation that is constantly changing and evolving. The role comes with a salary of £50,000 to £55,000 - plus bonus and other benefits.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, business insight, planning and decision support. You will partner the heads of Marketing, HR and IT to develop MI, support decision making, review and analyse performance and deliver projects which help to drive efficiency.
Key accountabilities of this role include;
- Working with the heads of functions to develop meaningful and insightful MI. Support must be provided to ensure that the financial implications of key decisions are understood and have been taken into consideration. This support should involve educating and challenging when appropriate.
- Business case and investment appraisal review to ensure that Finance are providing the best support possible to all head office functions and change projects.
- Managing projects and process improvement, controlling costs and delivering required outcomes.
Experience to date will include;
- Business partnering Directors and Senior stakeholders, including financial and operational analysis, investment appraisal and development of ROI models.
- Managing finance projects such as developing operational and financial KPIs, implementing new dashboard and rolling out throughout the organisation.
- Advanced Excel skills including modelling, analysis, forecasting and project evaluations.
- Turning numbers into stories; experience of presenting complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders both in writing and face to face.
- Advanced systems skills including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Used to working on/around projects, change and transformation.
Qualifications and personal attributes;
- Qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Proactive self-starter who can work on their own to deliver results whilst being equally comfortable within a team.
- Able to set direction and drive results through the successful execution of strategy whilst ensuring that customer focus is maintained.
- Ability to demonstrate a positive energy and attitude at all times.
