Forensic Accountant

This leading Independent Consultancy is looking for a newly qualified ACA Associate to join its growing Forensic Accounting team which focuses on Disputes and Valuations.

You will be involved in a broad range of Forensic Accounting assignments including Contractual and Valuation Disputes, Commercial loss of profit exercises, Financial Services Disputes and Shareholder and Family Disputes which may involve either litigation or arbitration.

As such the successful candidate is likely to be a newly qualified ACA with a strong academic and professional exam record who has a genuine understanding of, and interest in, Forensic Accounting and wants to develop their career within this fast growing and challenging area.

You will be required to demonstrate:

• First class communication and report writing skills with an attention to detail
• The ability to think laterally and to be able to understand the bigger picture.
• Strong technical accounting and investigation skills
• Financial modelling and spreadsheet skills.
• European language skills will be welcomed and valued but are not essential

The firm is happy to recruit someone from an Audit or Tax background who can demonstrate the above skills or someone already working within Forensic Accounting.
