Property Accountant - Real Estate Investment Manager (Client Side) OUR CLIENT is a well-established investor and manager of assets across the UK Real-Estate market. Due to ongoing expansion, our client are now looking to hire an experienced Property Management Accountant into a newly created role and to join the existing team.
THE ROLE will include but not be limited to:
- Producing and taking responsibility for monthly finance information.
- Creating monthly Landlord income statements and reports.
- Collating KPI reports.
- Maintaining the accounts receivable ledger and ensuring that all payments collected are properly allocated in a timely manner.
- Monitoring bank accounts and producing monthly reconciliation reports.
- Managing cash-flow.
- Preparing budgets, Cash flow analysis and forecasts.
- Demanding and collecting rent, service charges and insurance premiums.
- Ensuring all fees have been charged correctly.
- Checking and handling Tenant Deposits.
- Recording, processing and making payments of supplier invoices.
- Maintaining service charge figures, this will include: raising quarterly service charge demands to residential and commercial tenants, making supplier payments, VAT calculations and managing cash flow and credit control.
- Organising and taking responsibility for the year-end audit.
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns.
THE PERSON: - To apply, you must have solid, prior experience of all aspects of property management accounting and ideally possess a working knowledge of Sage 50. You will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of both management accounting and reporting and service charges and be a strong communicator with solid Excel skills. You will be adaptable and seeking to establish a career path and evolve with the firm taking on more responsibility and management duties as the company develops.
