The firm offer a wide range of services to clients within both the private and third sector and are considering succession due to a recent retirement and are keen to find a candidate with the skills and experience to move into a partnership position over the next 12-18 months.

Your new role

You will be working at a senior manager / director level within the busy audit department and if you don't already hold it you will work quickly towards obtaining RI status. Overseeing a number of charity and commercial audits you will have excellent technical knowledge across the private and third sector.

The role of partner is a varied one and you will be involved in strategic planning, ensuring the smooth running of the firm, developing staff and you will become an integral member of not only the firm but the wider business community.

What you'll need to succeed

Fundamentally you will have the communication and people skills that a partner requires. You will have the leadership skills to develop a team and the commercial acumen to help grow and develop the firm in the coming years. Credibility is key and you will have a track record of building excellent relationships with your clients and managing a successful team.

Qualified (preferably via ICAS) you will have the experience at a senior level of working in a busy audit department of a well-regarded firm and you will use this experience and knowledge to demonstrate your capability to progress to partner.
