This well established and fast-moving operational business have been in the local area for a number of years and are well-known in their specialist field.

Your new role
Due to maternity leave they are now looking to appoint a Financial Accountant for 12 months, to join the stable team, reporting directly in to the Financial Controller and acting as a support to them in financial controls. Responsibilities will include production of the group Statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, balance sheet accounts reconciliation, maintaining the fixed assets and preparation of the monthly management accounts.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you would have completed the ACA or ACCA qualification and have a proven track record working in a role recently of similar stance. Good all round skills in finance are a must and need to include statutory accounting and management reporting. Confidence, drive and commitment are key.
