Management Accountant

Haig&Co are thrilled to be working in partnership with a leading development business based in Warwick, helping them to find a talented and ambitious Management Accountant to join their expanding team.

Working in construction and development across the UK, this is a business with a proud and prestigious history who are eager to continue that into the future!

As Management Accountant you will be reporting to the Finance Manager, playing a major role in the preparation of Business Unit accounting records and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of forecast, projections and budgets
• Analysis of financial and commercial data
• Preparation or Management Accounts pack
• Assist in the control of regional financial ledgers
• Help develop business partnering initiatives with internal departments
• Month end reporting and commentary
• Support Finance Manager and Finance Director with preparation of group finance reporting
• Other ad hoc duties

The perfect Management Accountant for this role would have the following:

• Qualified/Part-qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• Strong self-drive and focus, along with meticulous organisational and planning/prioritisation skills
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Ability to think outside the box and work with integrity
• Strong written and oral communication
