Interim Financial Accountant

Based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, our client is looking for an Interim Financial Accountant to join their team for a period of 6 months.

This job would suit an ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant with a strong technical background ideally coming from the technology sector. This role will be to provide high quality financial information for the UK business, ensure financial reporting is effective and compliant whilst meeting all statutory and regulatory requirements.

It is essential the candidate has strong Financial Accounting experience ideally working to UK and US GAAP.

Duties will include:

• Oversee Cash Forecasting and ensure alignment to budgets and forecasts
• Ensure Financial Accounts are compliant to UK and US GAAP
• Improve the processes for cash flow forecasting
• Foreign currency exchange management including FX consolidation
• Complex Balance Sheet reconciliation and process improvement
• Inter-company accounting and multi-site entity
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management
• Provide support to external auditors (Big 4)
• Work closely with CFO and Head of FP&A and provide support across day to day activities to complete monthly accounts with the focus of analysing key cost drivers
