Procure to Pay Process Owner

We are helping a Global Media Group, with their EMEA headquarters based in West London to recruit an experienced Procure to Pay process owner. The successful person will manage a small team to help drive continuous improvements and best practice across the business function, taking ownership for the Global P2P related processes both internally and with outsourced services.

The main responsibilities are;

• Driving best practice and consistency within the systems and associated connected technology.
• Provide expert advice to Finance and Procurement leadership for systems, procedures and process change
• Manage all change to procurement related processes globally, owning and maintaining all documentation for standard operating procedures and training
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement in control and cost in Finance Transactional Services
• Set up and chair regular meetings to cover areas such as business performance, strategy and escalated items
• Provide regular proposals for continuous process improvements, demonstrating 3^rd party capabilities and new ideas
• Ensure all systems changes are appropriately tested and verified prior to roll out  

You are a Qualified Accountant with a strong background in Procure to Pay environments, with experience in a lead process role, with controls experience. You have strong SAP systems knowledge and extensive knowledge of working in a key control matrix environment. In depth knowledge of P2P and E2E business processes, R2R and OTC.

You have experience of influencing cross functional stakeholders and a strong knowledge of best practice for procurement. On top of this, you have experience of managing and motivating a team of people.
