Credit Control

BTG Accountancy and Finance are exclusively working with a client relocating to Manchester City Centre to recruit for a Credit Controller. The role of Credit Controller offers excellent training and a fantastic understanding of how the credit process should be run.

Role purpose for Credit Controller:

To manage over 300 overdue accounts each month. Contacting all the customers within the first three weeks of the month, by telephone then by e-mail confirming when payment will be made. To be responsible for a ledger of around £3 million a month

Reporting directly into the Credit Manager, responsibilities include (but not limited to:

• Checking 300 delivery notes per day ensuring all amendments are made on the SAP system to reflect the delivery note's details.
• Producing, checking and posting 300 invoices per day, ensuring that multiple invoices are posted together. Distributing requested invoices to each individual credit controller from the invoicing duty requirement list of 60 accounts.
• Posting daily Bacs receipts to correct accounts and correct invoices. Posting daily cheque receipts to correct accounts and correct invoices. Cash posting receipts in excess of £3 million per month.
• Credit checking new accounts and if credit worthy setting them up on the SAP system, ensuring all details are correct and an appropriate credit limit is given.

The ideal candidate profile:

• Strong communication, IT and interpersonal skills are essential
• Must be proactive and able to handle multiple competing priorities
• Be able to translate and communicate data information.
• Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
• Commutable to Manchester

Salary & Benefits

The client are able to offer a salary of up to £22,000 plus benefits.
