Senior Management Accountant
Our client, a large international retailer with offices in London, is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join them.
This position is responsible for leading a team that has management and statutory accounting responsibility for several divisions within the business. You will help to streamline and improve processes.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of two
- Month end close
- Preparing/Assisting with Statutory accounts and related external audits
- Analysis of actual results versus Plan/Budget
- Interact with all stakeholder levels throughout the business
- Preparing the monthly management accounts
- Providing support for the internal and external audit process.
- Working with the Finance Manager to deliver projects within the given time
- Assisting TAX team on VAT returns and other indirect tax compliance requirements
Experience and skills:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- 2+ years’ experience in a multi- national business, retail or wholesale preferred
- Business partnering with non-finance divisions
- 2 years’ management experience or team leadership experience
- Experience using SOX
Location: Central London
Salary £45-55k depending on experience
