A prestigious Management Consultancy, based in Central London, is looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join their internal EMEA finance team.
The role is primarily focussed on partnering with senior stakeholders and recognising revenue for their largest trading segments with the EMEA "Corporate Finance" team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Owning the revenue recognition process across the EMEA region.
- Preparation and posting of month end journals
- Preparing GL account reconciliations in line with SOX requirements
- Assisting the finance team in improving and enhancing month end process
Personal and Professional competencies
- Must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience of revenue recognition and the requirements under US GAAP (or IFRS)
- Involvement with month end close processes.
- Strong communicator with the ability to deal with senior stakeholders.
