FP&A Analyst / Modeller

We are working with an established and well run FinTech SME who are looking for their first, full time, FP&A Analyst/ Modeller

The SME, which has secured considerable investment to take it to a completely different level, had previously been outsourcing all finance.
The FinTech FP&A Analyst will be based out of the UK HQ, in Vauxhall, and report directly to the dynamic, entrepreneur CEO who spends much of his time travelling the world, meeting with investors.

The main purpose of the FP&A Analyst/ Modeller, will be to provide support to the CEO and Head of Sales, in their strategic decision making - by providing great information.
You will likely be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or have had considerable experience working as an analyst in a finance team.

You will be an excel expert. You will be able to provide superb models at high speed.

A couple of scenarios you might be faced with:

1. The Head of Sales has got a possible big deal on the table and the client wants a discount. They want to provide one, but there are dozens of variables which will be affected, and you are required to plug all of those variables into a model in order to suggest at what level the discount could be delivered, still allowing the deal to be profitable.
2. The CEO has a meeting in Singapore with Investors and they asked a bunch of questions - some of which he wasn't able to answer. They are based on forecasts and trends which the Financial Controller has produced in management accounts, over the last 6 months, and are related to some potential deals the Head of Sales has. You need to pull apart the Management Accounts and do a new forecast on the sales, with lots of changing variables.

So - you will a great thinker, understand finance, enjoy providing information, a great analyst and a great modeller.
