A global professional services firm are looking for a senior and highly professional accounts receivable assistant.
Candidates will be looking after high value of invoices so will need to have great communication skills to liase with senior stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- To take ownership of the client billing process to ensure all bills are accurate and sent out in a timely manner.
- To play a leading role in improving the client billing process with the aim of refining controls and improving efficiency
- To manage client and business relationships ensuring billing queries are resolved so that debts are collected on time.
- To upload billings into the local and group accounting systems and ensuring that all systems reconcile
- To ensure all receipts are booked to the sales ledger and applied on a daily basis
- To actively manage overdue debtors, collating relevant information and presenting regular reporting to key stakeholders to ensure that there is appropriate focus on overdue debts.
- To build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues to obtain all information in a timely manner
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills and capable of building relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent attention to detail ensuring consistently accurate billing
- Minimum 5 years Billings and Credit background
- Proactive, with ability to identify issues and use initiative to solve problems
- Strong organisational skills to meet key deadlines
- Good team player, and willing to go above and beyond
- Exercise discretion when dealing with confidential information
- Previous experience of working in a professional services industry is desirable
