The Consultancy Group are currently looking for a Group Reporting Manager to join a PLC business based in Central London on a permanent basis.

Reporting in to the Head of Finanial Accounting and responsible for 5 Direct Reports this is a great opportunity for a Qualified Accountant with 5+ years of post-qualified experience to develop within a gring business.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the consolidation and delivering the Annual Report, Interim Reporting and Press Release
  • Ensuring accurate reporting for complex areas such as M&A, restructuring, treasury, pension, shares schemes
  • Delivering monthly Board reporting including providing management commentary and key metrics
  • Identifying and implementing process improvement and changes required by ERP updates / new standards such as IFRS 16
  • Managing and developing a team
  • Working closely with various Group stakeholders including tax, treasury, commercial accounting, management accounting, company secretarial and systems

Requirements:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with solid post qualified experience
  • Prior group accounting and consolidation experience in a complex corporate environment required
  • Experience in delivering Group Annual Report and interim reporting
  • Exposure to accounting for corporate transactions (acquisitions, restructuring, etc)
  • Working knowledge of HFM or other consolidation systems required
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and understanding of latest technical developments
  • Experience in process improvement and systems change desirable
  • Strong team player with a desire to develop people
  • Effective communication skills with an ability to build strong networks
  • Influences those around them
  • Able to prioritise a variety of demands under time pressure and work flexibly to meet deadlines
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving issues
