Management Accountant (Group Finance)

They provide their insurance and risk management services from a growing network of offices with over 40 locations across London, the Midlands, the North, Scotland, East Anglia and the South West, as well as Guernsey.
Position: Management Accountant
Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire (Commutable from Worksop, Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £23,000 to £28,000 depending on experience

About the role:
Due to growth within the Finance Team, our client are now looking for a Management Accountant to join the Company.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management accounting for 2-4 trading entities (depending on size)
- Adhere to monthly reporting timetable for preparation of divisional P&L reports and balance sheet reconciliations for assigned trading entities
- Work closely with purchase ledger team and reporting managers to ensure management reporting information is accurate
- Work with business partners and / or managing directors of trading entities to discuss monthly variances
- Aiding annual budget preparation, review and posting
- Assistance with external audit
- Assisting where necessary or appropriate
About you:
- Experience in a similar Management Accountant role assisting with the production of management accounts or completing management accounts
- Ideally intercompany reconciliations experience
- Good MS Excel skills
- Part Qualified Management Accountant would be considered
You may have experience of the following: Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant, Accountant, Qualified Accountant, Finance Analyst, Finance Officer, Finance Manager, Financial Analyst, Accounts Manager, Reporting, Financial Reporting ACCA, ACA, CIMA, Junior ,Graduate etc
