Finance Analyst - Retail

My client, a Global Luxury Retail business is looking to hire a Finance Analyst on a permanent basis. Based in their offices in West London this is fantastic role reporting into the Senior Management Accountant.


Key Responsibilities

·Taking ownership of cost centres in the P&L. Budget for the cost centres total.
·Supporting the preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts.
·Liaising with business partners to ensure business and financial objectives are met. Identifying any financial risk and mitigating if possible.
·Delivering cost savings across cost centres as set in the budget.
·Point of contact on all queries from the business related to cost centres
·Accountable for month end results for cost centres. Provide commentary for variances against forecast to group reporting team.
·Support the production of the monthly management consolidation reports for the group leadership teams
·Financial modelling of impacts of projects within cost centres.
·Assisting commercial team in managing the annual budgetary process and forecasts as required

Skills and Qualifications

·Part Qualified accountant
·Experience within a group function and retail preferable
·Positive with a can-do attitude
·Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
·Prior experience of project delivery, identifying opportunities, new ideas
·Ability to bring continuous improvement
·Team player
·Strong Excel skills
