Project Accountant

A 9 month Fixed Term Contract for an experienced Project Accountant in Hitchin


A Pharmaceuticals business in Hitchin are currently recruiting for a Project Accountant to join their team on a 9 month maternity mover contract.

As the Project Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing all invoice allocations and coding
• Business Partnering across the projects and operations team
• Managing project life cycle
• Calculating monthly revenue recognition
• Producing billibility reports
• Keeping a record of the project teams hours/timesheets and obtaining manager approval
• Reviewing accrued and deferred income
• Updating client invoicing terms in line with project contracts
• Monitoring timesheet trends and compliance
• Reviewing quotes for specific bids
• Attending quote meetings with Sales Managers

The successful candidate must have revenue recognition experience. You will ideally have some project accounting experience or at least some experience analysing time and materials. This role would suit a self-starter with strong I. Skills and excellent analytical skills.
