Head of Finance

Seeking a Head of Finance to lead finance, governance, risk and control management activities for a recognised brand. Based in Central London, this is an international focused role for a leader seeking to make a difference within fast paced and acquisitive global business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead on the division wide implementation of best practice, new standards, and continuous improvement
• Design and implement approaches that drive improvement across finance
• Act as chairman for the Finance Risk Governance forum
• Provide coaching and support to the business on key strategic initiatives and change programmes
• Build relationships with all relevant stakeholders across the business
• Use best practice global frameworks to co-ordinate changes within business units
• Provide support in identifying gaps and remediation when required
• Oversee CFO Risk report - inc. regular reporting on Finance & Governance risk and controls
• Develop dashboard reporting on key finance and governance risks and opportunities
• Provide a key point of contact for assurance providers

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Relevant Project Management Qualification (e Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Prince II)
• Adaptable to change
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills
• Skilled in problem solving and decision making
• Initiative and desire to do more than is expected
• High calibre financial understanding and commercial awareness
