My client, a leading private healthcare group, are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller due to a successful period of growth.
This is a key role responsible for the development of an efficient and effective finance function.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the Finance function of both the Service and Retail function.
- To provide financial analysis and insight into the operational activities of the business whilst ensuring a robust control environment and balance sheet integrity.
- To provide effective internal and external financial performance reporting on a regular basis. This will include provision of financial reports against the organisations financial plan.
- Managing the accounting and finance including consolidation and reporting, as well as reporting to the parent company and executive management.
- Ensure a robust control and governance framework is in place, including systems
Candidate requirements:
- Have a recognised accountancy professional membership qualification.
- Experience of leading a finance function in a service contracting business.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Significant experience of working in a sales led environment commercially and financially supporting the winning of complex services contract bids.
- Track record of successfully developing and enhancing systems and processes to support business change and growth
