Financial Controller

A highly ambitious and rapidly growing business based in Bury are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller. You will take full control of the company's finances whilst continuing to develop and lead what is a fast paced and continuously developing company. This would suit an ambitious Management Accountant looking for that next step up in their career or someone who is already an FC but wants a new opportunity that will challenge them and be part of an exciting and continually growing business.

Your responsibilities will include;

• Production of all P&L accounts and balance sheet accounts
• Analysis of the P&L accounts providing commentary on business performance and explanation of variances to plan
• Manage the finance team
• ensure all daily accounting processes are adhered to
• lead the functional appraisal, performance management and people development processes for the group accounting / finance teams
• Manage the cashflow forecasting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Manage and review and control of purchase ledger balance, aged debt balance, cash books and control of inter-company balances (both trade & nominal, stock holding
• lead and manage the posting of journals and review/management of journal posting
• manage any day to day banking issues
• manage the year end auditors and all other external Finance consultants
• manage and ensure a smooth year end audit and that the audit packs are complete and accurate
