Stanton House are partnering with a global FTSE 250 organisation based in the Basingstoke area, who are looking to recruit in their Commercial division for a Senior Commercial Analyst. This Senior Commercial Analyst role would be suitable for a detail-oriented qualified accountant who may be looking to make their first step from a practice environment into industry. In this role you will support the Commercial Finance Manager and Commercial Director to provide dedicated, high quality financial modelling and commercial bid resource with contracts ranging from £5million to £2billion.

The employers Commercial Division has a proven track record to senior shareholders both internally and externally, helping develop numerous senior stakeholders within the business.

To successfully deliver in this high-profile position you will need to have:

  • University degree.
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA) - Ideally within the 'Big 4' over the last 4 years.
  • Proven experience and understanding of financial accounting techniques and governance.
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel, along with a proven numeric background.
  • Able to influence decision making on bids by using the modelling process to highlight the potential outcomes and impact of different areas of the bid strategy

  • Develop and populate cost models that satisfy financial governance requirements
  • Support across all business units providing dedicated, high quality financial modelling and bid resource.
  • To provide optimal pricing with customers alongside our proposed technical solution for outsourcing contracts.
