Senior Commercial Finance Manager

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Finance Manager for a leading blue chip company in Nottingham. This is a very exciting opportunity to work for one of Nottingham's employers of choice and offers fantastic career progression and development.

As the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will business partner the Sales, Commercial and Transformation Leadership teams, with responsibility for relaying financial performance so the leadership team can drive action and optimise performance and produce strategic plans.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead a team of senior analysts in developing strategic business plans, forecasting and reporting models, and challenging assumptions behind the commercial forecasts
• Coordinate finance input into Projects and Business Initiatives - ensuring decision support & commercial challenge in order to facilitate successful implementation
• Manage production of monthly directors and board reports providing accurate and insightful commentary on key financial and operational performance indicators
• Own the EBIT out turn forecasts and risks & opportunities, driving actions to ensure EBIT delivery in line with plan
• Ensure that all financial reporting, analysis and commentary from your team is of a good quality and ensure that it enables the business to make informed decisions
• Drive the mid-term planning process, monthly reporting, quarterly re-forecasting

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with previous experience of managing a team within a commercial finance environment. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence Senior Leaders and Directors. You will have the ability to drive commercial delivery, with ability to highlight and manage key commercial risks. You will have excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills, as well as a pro-active and creative approach to problem solving.
