Currently recruiting for an Operational Finance Business Partner for a progressive FMCG firm (part of FTSE 100) based in Bedfordshire. The role would suit a commercially astute business partner who enjoys working with a broad multi-site remit within a fast-paced listed entity.
Currently recruiting for an Operational Finance Business Partner for a progressive FMCG firm (part of FTSE 100) based in Bedfordshire. The role would suit a commercially astute business partner who enjoys working with a broad multi-site remit within a fast-paced listed entity.
The key context of this role:
- To drive the strategic direction of the manufacturing sites, in conjunction with the management teams, through good financial control, insights and analysis.
- To take ownership and drive KPI improvement within the operational hubs
Key responsibilities:
- Member of site management teams and the sites General Manager and Operations Directors business partner
- High levels of analysis and insight on operational functions, influence senior stakeholders up to operational directors and general managers
- Manage and mentor junior members of the team
- Drive performance by planning, implementing and monitoring the management actions for the sites
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement with regards to process
- Own the Budgeting and Forecasting of the financial numbers in accordance with timetables and deadlines.
- Site reporting and accounting to ensure the accounts adhere to ABF accounting standards.
- To understand reporting variances and to put in place corrective action plans and to drive performance.
Candidate profile:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant (can also be QBE if relevant experience is demonstrated)
- Confident stakeholder manager in fast paced environment (desirable multi-site exposure)
- High levels of analysis and insight to numbers
- Drive culture of continuous improvement through KPI metrics
- Desirable exposure within FMCG, Manufacturing or logistics focused environments.
