Finance Analyst

Peterborough, Cambridgeshire: The One Group have been engaged to recruit a finance analyst for a global manufacturing business, with a diverse range of products. The businesses culture is to continually move its staff around to ensure up shilling and progression is regularly available.

Supporting a sales and marketing function, you will need strong analytical skills to draw conclusions, and excellent presentation and communication skills to deliver your findings.

Key duties include:

- Monthly Reporting & analysis of spend to key stakeholders
- Business partnering with sales and marketing teams throughout monthly reporting and forecasting cycles, and providing ad hoc analysis and advice as required
- Provision of Monthly analysis versus plan and prior year
- Close activities - Journals and pre-close analysis
- Co-ordination of the Annual Planning process and the quarterly forecasting process
- Provision of analysis to the financial consolidations team
- Providing support and leading project work within the sales support team.
- Adhoc analysis and support to the sales and marketing team

Suitable applicants will be late stage studiers/ newly qualified/ qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA Accountants and be used to handling large volumes of data and working with multiple stake holders.
