Commercial Finance Manager | Central Manchester | Private Equity | Up to £60k + generous bonus
Due to a sustained period of growth, one of the North’s leading Private Equity houses has created a brand-new position within its Commercial Team.
Working both in tandem with the management teams of portfolio businesses, the individual will create meaningful commercial analysis and business partner with each individual business - at board level - to drive performance.
The successful candidate will undertake the following roles;
• Preparation of financial reporting and analysis for a portfolio of companies to evaluate portfolio performance
• Provision of internal MI and analysis to senior management to aid decision making with regards to investment management
• Development and production of internal reporting metrics to monitor portfolio performance
• Liaison with, and challenging assumptions of, investment company FD’s/MD’s/CEO’s regularly
• Inhouse systems development and process improvements
• Provide value-added recommendations to board level on strategic decision making within the investment portfolio
With ambitious growth targets in the coming years, the client is now looking for an ambitious individual to undertake a pivotal role in the business.
The successful individual will have the following background and skills;
• CIMA or ACCA qualified
• Demonstrable industry experience of being ‘within the business’
• Excellent MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI capability
• Demonstrable ability to challenge senior stakeholders within a rapidly moving environment
