A Top 100 independent firm or Chartered Accountants with offices across Lancashire & Cumbria are looking to appoint an Audit Assistant Manager to join their corporate services team. This is an award winning accountancy firm that employ over 200 staff and are part of an international network of Chartered Accountants. The firm are looking to appoint an ACA / ACCA finalist or qualified accountant to help service their growing portfolio of corporate clients.


Your new role
As an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager you will work within the corporate services team delivering a quality service to a broad portfolio of clients. In this role you will act as an Audit Senior on a variety of audit work including statutory financial audits, grant audit work. internal audit, client money audits and SARs audits. Taking responsibility for the planning, field work and completion of fieldwork and completion of accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders. You will also have some supervisory duties of junior staff and be responsible for monitoring assignments against timescales and budgets.


What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint an ACCA / ACA qualified or finalist who has trained either within a Top 10 firm or an independent firm with an element of audit in their role. You will be an ambitious and enthusiastic accountant who is looking to develop their career and progress through to management. You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of providing excellent client service.
