Management Accountant

A creative studio and production house is recruiting for a newly created Management Accountant role that has been created due to the rapid growth. This exciting, creative entrepreneurial company works with a number of different business units which include film, animation, branding and various new business lines.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Management Accountant who is excited about working in an ever changing and growing environment and wants to learn and grow in the process. You will need to be able to work closely with the group business head and ideally have had Experience of working in a small but complex organisation.

Responsibilities

• Production accounting, including profitability and budgets
• Royalty accounting
• Month end processes and reporting including variance analysis and commentaries
• Sales invoicing
• Generating cost reports to assist producers maintain cost control
• Cash flow forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany balances
• Assist in developing and executing a fast month end close
• Generating reporting in Excel or Google Sheets based on Quickbooks data.
• Documentation and analysis of business processes
• Working effectively with staff at all levels of the organisation
• Assist in generating the annual budget

About you

• Qualified or Finalist ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Previous experience and understanding of royalties
• Excellent IT skills. Advanced Excel user
• Relishes problem solving
• Practical, hands on approach
• Outgoing and enjoys working with a variety of people
• Good cultural fit for a creative agency
