We are currently recruiting for an experienced, qualified ACCA (or final stage active studier) Accounts Senior for our client, a top 15 UK accounts firm to join their friendly and established team in Chester.
Based in the business services department and reporting directly to the Partners and/or Senior Managers you will work with your own accounts portfolio comprising a broad range of SME and owner managed clients with responsibility for accounts production and bookkeeping. Currently expanding at a rate of 15% pa this highly regarded firm offers Audit & Assurance, Tax, advisory & Business services to a broad range of clients and has a good track record of progressing its employees through the business and Group.
Applicants will ideally be ACCA Qualified or later stage active studiers although they will also consider AAT or non-qualified applicants who have previously operated in a similar profile role within an accounts practice. You will have a professional and organised approach and will have excellent communication skills and the persona and gravitas to work with business owners and Directors. Prior audit experience would be an advantage.
Our clients is flexible in terms of the base salary but has said it will be commensurate with the level of skills and experience and what the successful applicant can bring to the firm. Normal office hours are 37.5 per week, 9.00am to 5.30pm, although some flexibility may be considered and additional benefits include Pension and 20 days holiday.
