Head of Commercial Finance

An opportunity has arisen to join a recognized market leading international fashion brand as the Head of Commercial Finance. A highly successful brand within its market, it has ambitious plans to grow over the coming years and this position is responsible for providing financial support and analysis in all commercial decisions, as well as detailed strategic planning.

Heading up commercial finance in its entirety and managing the financial team, this role requires a commercially savvy individual who is adept in analytical thinking in order to help take the company forward. Working in a super-fast paced and dynamic environment, they will need to ensure that teams are supporting the growth of the business, including expansion into new territories and the establishment of commercial analysis to support new operations. Experience of supervising a team is essential as this is an integral aspect of this all encompassing role.

Therefore, the candidate needs to be a strong communicator, have confident interpersonal skills and be able to work within non finance functions. Retail or multi-site background experience is a must and experience in a fashion company is preferable. You will be depended upon for financial insight, commercial proposals and play a key role in strategic decision making that will determine the performance of the group, so a high-quality business awareness is essential.
