My client is a leading South West employer, with operations throughout the UK & Europe. They are currently seeking to recruit a Finance Analyst to work within a small reporting team which is integral to the wider finance department.

The responsibilities of the role include:

Producing monthly profit and loss and balance sheet figures

Investigating anomalies and variances within management accounts

Production of analysis and preparing commentary

Maintenance of Balance Sheet control accounts

Assisting with budgets and forecasts, consolidating data, preparation of presentations

The ideal candidate will possess strong excel skills, and proven experience with pivot tables and v-lookups. They will currently be studying CIMA or ACCA or recently qualified, and have previous experience of management accounts and analysis.

This represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious part or newly qualified candidate who enjoys using systems and modelling to challenge business thinking.
