Financial Controller

A growing, highly entrepreneurial privately owned publishing business based in central London seeks an ambitious and commercially minded Financial Controller to act as financial number one and partner with the CEO and board in order to lead its high-achieving finance team and push the business to the next level through both organic growth and M&A.

This is a key role within the business as the role involves taking full responsibility for the leading and development of the finance team as well as the day to day running of the finance function. The role requires a driven and results orientated leader able to identify opportunities for improvements in systems, processes, and controls in order to drive the continued growth of the business. The Financial Controller will have a strong relationship with senior management and the board.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with a proven track record in leading and developing a finance team. There will be extensive interaction with the wider business and an opportunity to take an active role the company’s M&A strategy This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting, business with exposure to a broad range of responsibilities and future prospects.
